    Brand film for the Tako and Fugu chairs — Naoto Fukasawa × Jasper Morrison. Shot at Maruni's Hiroshima workshop. The edit lets the joinery speak; the designers' voices stay close to the material.

    NIPPONISTA — Isetan NY Pop-up

    Isetan Mitsukoshi (Cool Japan Strategy)

    Four short documentaries for Isetan's NY pop-up in SoHo: wooden-barrel soy sauce, Aomori indigo, sparkling sake, and a Japanese balloon artist. Interview-led inside workshops; built to read without audio inside the Greene Street storefront.

    Mitsubishi Estate × Hakone Open-Air Museum

    Director / Edit

    Contemporary art on Marunouchi's central avenue — featured Katsura Funakoshi, Shagya'an, Takahiro Matsuo, Atsuhiko Misawa, Michiko Nakatani. Filmed the artists' studios and install days to reframe work most commuters walk past.

    Regional tourism film across Kagoshima's food, onsen, history, Yakushima, and Amami-Ōshima / Tokunoshima. Narration-free across five chapters — a prefecture's own film should look more composed than the tourist footage already online.

    Kinfolk — Community Gatherings in Tokyo

    Four lifestyle shorts for Kinfolk Japan — Flower Potluck, Butcher Block Party, Art of Camp Cooking, Gathering at the Kinfolk Table. Minimal on-set direction, warm scoring; the camera dissolves into the community.

    Community ecology program in Noda, Chiba — flying a life-size stork kite with local schoolchildren to teach biodiversity through a species that once flew overhead. Won four design awards including a D&AD Wood Pencil.

    Three post-disaster case documentaries — new ways of working from Tohoku, 'Nagasare-zushi', and 'Namari-bushi raayu'. Access built carefully on-site while recovery was still in progress.

    Global case documentaries — a New Zealand suicide-helpline team building remote intake during the pandemic, and a French hospital converting 2D CT to 3D for pre-surgical analysis. The brief was corporate; the edit kept it human.

    Tiffany × Numero — Save the Wild

    Rola travels to Kenya's Samburu National Reserve, learning from the Samburu about ivory poaching and elephant conservation. The tension to solve: fashion cinematography with documentary honesty, filmed in parallel.

    Six-country portrait of one generation — Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Italy, Norway, Turkey, USA. A father in Norway naming his newborn gave the film its title. Shot on the move, close to lives in six languages.

    Brand film around SEGA's new corporate identity. Director Toshihiro Nagoshi at work, threaded through a commute sequence that arrives at the new CI as a decision. CI design by WOW.
